Baden Powell, the founder of the world scouting movement once said: "Scouting is a game, but it's a game with a purpose." Scouting is the perfect game-based vehicle for providing our boys: a solid foundation of character development, outdoor skills, teamwork, leadership skills, tolerance and understanding, friends with integrity, a personal commitment to protect and preserve our environment, community involvement, the value of service, and a strong sense of national pride. All these factors are a part of scouting, but we maintain an overriding principle; "If we can't make it fun, and/or it doesn't build character, we're not going to do it."

Our ultimate goal is to provide you with sufficient information on all the participating scout units in Sequim so you and your families can join in the fun.  We continue to solicit the rest of the scout units in Sequim and have offered them space on this site - so check back with us often to get information on the other units, as we hope it will be forthcoming.  When everyone has had a chance to provide their input, all you will have to do to get information on a specific Sequim scout unit, is either click on the appropriate logo below, or click on the unit number on the navigation bar on the left side of this page.  Cruise around the site and give us some feedback.  There are "Contact Us" pages on a number of the units sites - so just go there and drop a note to a unit you are interested in giving us your suggestions - we'll be both happy to hear from you and more than willing to incorporate your good ideas onto this site.
